Using Phonics

Using Phonics

Description

Many words in the structured courses are ready for use with synthetic phonics.  Tick the 'Use phonics' box to switch the selected word list into phonic splits and whole words.
The phonics mode will give you a different selection of games to practice:
  1. Blending sounds - good for reading
  2. Segmenting sounds - good for spelling
  3. Phonemes - breaking down a word into its individual sounds
